venus crosses the sun!

there's a little black spot on the sun today.  don't worry, i'm not gonna get all tantric on you.

but how about super nerdy? venus is crossing the sun as we speak.  it looks like a tiny black dot.  you can almost see it in this photo!

not impressed? well this won't happen again until 2117.  so grab your welder's glasses and get a peek. do i need to remind you not to stare at the sun? i know you cheated during the eclipse.
